Installing DXConnect Service in Mozilla FireFox:

1.) Click on the "Install sidebar now!" prompt onscreen.

2.) A new window will open asking if you wish to 'Add Bookmark?' and displaying the Name which will be assigned the Bookmark (DXConnect) and the folder in which it will be created.

3.) Change 'Name and/or location folder if desired.

4.) Click on 'OK'. The DXConnect service will now be available.

5.) To display the DXConnect Sidebar, go to the 'Bookmarks' menu and click on 'DXConnect'. (or as per your settings in previous step)

6.) The DXConnect service should now display.


Installing DXConnect Service in Internet Explorer:

1.) Click on the "Install sidebar now!" prompt onscreen.

2.) Simply 'RUN' the DXConnect installer program. This will take less than a minute.

3.) The DXConnect Explorer Bar should automatically appear in IE.7 when the browser is re- opened. It will be necessary to close all active windows and restart the browser.

4.) If it does not automatically appear onscreen after closing/re-opening (this is the case for older versions of the IE software) it can be turned on manually by accessing the 'View' Menu in your browser window and scrolling down to 'Explorer Bar' - then selecting 'DXConnect' from the list.

A tick should appear against this item.

The installation should also make available an Icon to the Browser's Standard Buttons - this will enable you to turn off or turn on the DXConnect as desired.


To Install DXConnect in Netscape:

1.) Click on the "Install sidebar now!" prompt.

2.) A new window will open asking if you wish to 'Add Tab to Sidebar?' and displaying the Source code for the site.

3.) Click on 'OK'. The DXConnect service will now be available.

4.) To display the DXConnect Sidebar, go to the 'View' menu and click on 'My Sidebar'.

5.) The DXConnect service should now display.

For those of you that are curious about the new DXConnect service and have tried to login using your entered ‘pre-registration’ details… you can now gain access to a number of new functions.

While not officially released yet for group (DXCommunity) participation and discussion the service nonetheless has the function to allow you to ‘create a new DXCommunity’.

DXCommunities (groups) can be established (created) and a Key registered – the Key allows others to access your group. A ‘Key’ can be sent to someone to invite them to join your group – or groups can be publicly accessed by having the Key made available.

You are welcome to create a DXCommunity for yourself and see how simple this process is…
