Someone on this forum suggested to call Rep. Donna Howard, who represents the 48th District (which includes Austin, TX), and talk to Elenor, who is specifically working on the EMO debacle.
Thank you for that suggestion, whoever you are!
I've never talked to an office of a Representative of Congress that was more honest, helpful, and ACTUALLY concerned with my problem! Here's was she said in a nutshell:
First, she said she was only contacted by 2 people about the EMO situation. One of those actually got an answer from the Receiver saying that they will NEVER get their money back. Well, Elenor took this to the (state?) Banking Commission. The Banking Commission said that didn't sound right, so they are looking into it.
The concern I brought up was the faked DDOS message that was displayed the day of the raid (March 9th) and lasted 5 days afterwards. My paycheck was direct deposited into that account that very day. If someone didn't display the DDOS attack message and told the TRUTH, I could've easily gotten my money back.
Elenor had the opinion that since EMO lost control that day, that it could be the fault of the Receiver. She said that could be a reason to get my money back and that she would bring it up with the Banking Commission! She took my name and e-mail. Elenor was extremely nice! If I move to the Austin, TX area, Ms. Howard has my vote!
So, my point is EVERYONE who cares about getting their money back should call Elenor at Rep. Donna Howard's office at (512) 463-0631 and explain their story.
It looks like they are actually doing something, unlike the Governor, who basically told me to go find a lawyer.
Good luck, everyone.
