QUOTE (warrior1 @ Mar 12 2012, 01:46 PM) Quick questions
I have looked at the site but I did not see how it was raising awareness of domestic violence other than in the name
Is there something more inside towards this goal? Are donations being made to any organization that does raise awareness of this very serious problem? Think I will pass on this one No details at all about donations to this worthy cause If somebody is just cashing in on this its sick. No details about Admin ie address, phone number etc If it was for real they wouldn't need to hide Wouldn't they need a charity license number? Doug

I got my reply from the Admin and here is what he had to say. I did check out the other sites and they do talk about donations etc QUOTE Hi Linda, I live in Sunbury, PA. and I too have been affected all of my life by DV and my Fiance' and her 3 Children are victims of an abusive marriage for almost 15 years. I am obtaining my Bachelor's Degree from Kaplan University in Psychology with a focus on Human Services because I have been touched by this horrific problem and seriously want to help people such as us with the mental aftermath it causes. The idea of the Matrix is to make more people "aware" of the problem and just to kind of put it out there. It just doesnt happen to "someone else" or is in other's Families. Most of the money the site collects goes for the payouts for the matrix and what is left over, from AlertPay fees and such, will be donated to local and National projects to help fund the building of shelters for abuse victims, other emergency outlets, as well as other organizations that bring awareness to the cause. It hasn't been decided as of yet which programs it will fund when the time comes, but we too, are doing research to find out what is doing good and what is just for show. I am working on getting the tax exempt status from the Federal Government for The sites that I have made so far. If you want, you can look at these: Silent Cries Are Real or (SCAR) http://www.silentcriesarereal.orgPurple Moons Ad Exchange http://purplemoons.prauctions.organd of course, the Matrix at: http://dvam.prauctions.org I want to finish and get started on my auction website which would also benefit the same cause at: http://www.prauctions.org I'm sorry if this isn't enough to join but you have to watch yourself when donating any money at all, even if it is just a few dollars. Thank you for checking out the site, Robert (Admin)

Hello,
My name is Robert Davis and I am the Admin of D.V.A.M. and hopefully I can explain things a little better here than the website does. First, my intensions are good and I'm not trying to take your money for myself. I am trying to raise awareness of Domestic Violence to every single soul that I possibly can. I also know that the site does not explain everything and I am admittedly, an amature at best. I myself was abused as a child, my personal friends have told me of abuse from family and friends, and my Fiance' and 3 Children are from an abusive marriage for almost 15 years. I feel that in some way or another I can do something to help. To explain the money that goes into the site is this: $1 of the $4 it takes to sign up is basically eaten by AlertPay fees, so we have the $3 which most of that will go to the payouts of the members of the matrix. Probably, as you know, these things do not last for very long, maybe this one will, I don't know, but when all is said and done and we have reached almost max payouts for the members, we will take from there, and find organizations that does support the cause and donate the funds. We are even open to suggestions as this will help us in deciding what are the best ones to donate to and how the money will be split. Excuse me when I say we because I mean my Fiance' and I. I am going to put up a better explanation of what is going on, or at least a link that takes you to the explanation. Maybe I have explained enough but maybe not and that is completely your choice and I for one am not one to tellyou what to do. I thank you for your time and if you have more questions or suggestions, I can be reached by putting in a support ticket at the website. (It comes directly to my Email.) Thank you, Robert Davis PS If you want to know my personal details, all you have to do is click on the AlertPay button and it will tell you who I am before you complete the payment if you choose not to...

Email from admin
Our Domestic Violence Awareness Matrix has basically come to a stop because there is no one promoting and actually trying to get the word out about our cause or the money that could be made here for such a small cost.
It doesn't take much, just a few ads placed here and there, talking to a few people, and that is it! If we all pull together and put a little effort in, and yes, that includes me, we can help much more than you may realize.
So what do you say? Do we get out there and earn a little cash and spread the word? So far, we are sitting at member 96 and the person that refers number 100 earns a quick bonus of $10!
There are so many that are very close to cycling and earning a quick $40 payment, it is scary! We can't donate any of the money as of yet because no one has cycled outand it is benefiting no one!
I beg of you please, spend a little time promoting and earn that extra cash and help the very unfortunate Victims of Domestic Violence!
Thank you all for reading,
Robert Davis (Admin)
