DBS returned me the money from credit card transaction. Woohoo!!!!! Now left my Citibank Card!
I just hope they don't take it back.

Hi Lookkool

Just wondering wheen did you fund in the money with your credit card.
When did you file you the dispute? I tried calling them, they ask me to submit a dispute form.

Fund the money sometime in January. Filed the claim on Sunday.
You have to submit the dispute form and sign it.

This is what I filled in.
I bought a service from a company THROUGH Stormpay but didn't get the service. The company wanted to refund me but Stormpay froze that company's account so they can't refund me.

You must tell them you had called and email Stormpay. Just attached an email from Stormpay.

I am really stuck and lost on what to do. If I file charge back, afraid SP might hold back the rest of my money that credit card cannot stopped. My credit card funding started in Jan 09 and last one was 21 Jan. so suay man, just started in the game only.

What do you mean you attached email from stormPay, you mean they (SP) bother to reply to your email?

Hey ... be careful of doing chargebacks. Once you've done one, your stormpay account is as good as gone.

Why not wait a few days first to see whether Stormpay will refund the payments or not ...the limit on chargebacks is 60 days anyway.

normally when u do a chargeback it will leave your account in negative balance and when that happens stormpay will ask u to make it to 0 or a positive balance. and no one would do that so they will suspend your acc.

i've just called hsbc, and they're sending me a dispute form to be filled up. haven't receive the form yet so i do not know what other info is required. but according to them, once i've submitted the form to them, they will reverse out the transaction first. afterwhich, they will try to contact the merchant (stormpay) on their part and let me know if the merchant has anything to say... this process might take 1-3 mths, but she mentioned to me max is 3 mths. so i guess hsbc is giving the merchant up to 3 mths to reply.

Once you file a dispute and the charges are reversed, it will be up to the merchant (stormpay) to prove that your services have been already rendered (which they can't)

UOB bank (my bank) has been receiving calls about stormpay all day and apparently it has gone to their fraud department, growing bigger and bigger by the minute.

nope. not much questions asked. like lookkool said, i just told them that i didn't get the service i paid for, that's all.

anyway, i'll get that form first, then see how it goes, if the stormpay situation is still the same, then will continue with the form..
