Your host should enable subdomain creating feature for you. Number of subdomains that are alloted for you depends on the type of hosting plan you are using. You can use ’subdomains’ icon or text link in your control panel to create, delete and edit your subdomains.

Now a days almost all hosts allot unlimited subdomains with all hosting packages.

1. Login into yur host panel. You will see a link ‘Subdomains’.
2. Creating a subdomain is easy with your graphical user interface.

1: Enter subdomain name. Create by clicking ‘Add’ button.
Once a subdomain is added, it will be listed in the bottom three dropdown lists.

2: You can redirect your subdomain. Useful in redirecting seperate subdomains to your affiliate products.
3: Remove redirection.
4: Delete subdomains. Deleting subdomains from this list doesn’t delete the folder created during the subdomain creation. So you have to delete it manually.

Create a Subdomain:
This describes how to use the Create a Subdomain service option. To access this or any other domain name service, log in to your account by clicking on "Control Panel" at the left of this page, and then select Domain Name Services from the main menu.

Description:
Using this service, you can create subdomains (World Wide Web addresses such as "products.yourdomain.com") for domains that are currently active in your account. Subdomains can be configured to point to your www directory, or any of its subdirectories. For example, "products.yourdomain.com" can be configured to point to a different directory (and therefore different pages) than "www.yourdomain.com".
To create a new subdomain, simply fill out the subdomain creation form, and click on the "Create Subdomain" button at the bottom of the form. Before your subdomain will work for you, our system needs to add it to our name servers so that it will work on the Internet. Our name servers are updated every 24 hours. Therefore 24 hours may pass before your subdomain works for you.

Visual impression maybe better

These are the steps (assuming you have log in to your cpanel):
1. Look for the subdomain quota bundled with your hosting package in the left bar. Make sure you have at least 1 quota left to create more subdomain.( in my case I have used 2 subdomain for total quota of 100)

2. Look for the button "Subdomain" a little further below. and click it

3. You can set up your new subdomain here, or manage the existing

Hope this help

just want to point out one thing: even you have cpanel, depends on your hosting, you may not be able to create subdomain.
