Definitely some impressive stats there, do you have your site's monetized for adsense as well, or do you find that selling products is more effective for you?

I know a lot of people who have become rich from CJ. I used to have an account with them because they are very UK friendly.

Every merchant has different criteria. Some merchants on CJ are on auto approve and accept everyone, but that usually means the program is not very well managed and you may be competing with some riff raff. Most want to see that your site is well designed and somewhat targeted to their niche. It's typically the bigger well known brands that are strictest and only accept experienced affiliates with decent traffic.I like to think there are still programs with good affiliate-centered management realize everyone has to start somewhere and won't turn affiliates away just because they are newbies. Every super affiliate was a newbie too at some point.

Sometimes it's hard to join in some programs while others accept immediately and if you have traffic on your site, you will earn great income.

I just joined commission junction and have been approved for two programs Will add the links to my website and see how it goes.

CPA programs are a waste of time to promote. Why? Their tracking is "REALLY REALLY UNDEPENDABLE". The affiliate code provided for you to use for purpose of commission generating only tracks on the FIRST landing page, but as we all know and learned from experience, these advertisers' website that you redirected people to =

1). The people would, of-course, browse around the site before deciding to purchase something. True? ... YES ... If you notice, once you moved away from that landing page, the browser "Address Bar" NO LONGER SHOW YOUR AFFILIATE TRACKING NUMBER or I.D. While, you were promised that commission and referrals are tracked by cookies, and most or all CPA advertisers offer a somewhat 30 to 45 days tracking cookies on referrals, but do not fall for it because if the "Address Bar" on your browser doesn't show your tracking number or affiliate I.D., your referring activities are NOT TRACKABLE!

2). Most or ALL of the CPA advertisers required their customers to register for an account prior to be able to purchase something. Well, if your referrals are first time visitors to the advertisers' website and decided to buy something, they must register for an account with the advertiser. AND registering for a New Account requires "Log-in", which is https and https web pages are secured pages within a website, therefore ALL ACTIVITIES INSIDE THOSE PAGES are NOT and I repeat NOT TRACKABLE! Therefore, YOU GET CHEATED OFF YOUR HARD WORKS PROMOTING CPA ADVERTISERS because if trackings are impossible, THERE WILL NOT BE ANY, and I repeat ANY commission for the referral because it was not tracked because it cannot be tracked!

Commission Junction has a lot of options for affiliate marketers and that's definitely a good thing. However, it really isn't a program that does a person well if they don't have a lot of traffic. You want to make sure that you have a lot of niche targeted traffic that will appreciate the ads from Commission Junction. Otherwise, CJ can quickly become frustrating.

Hi, this is very nice picture. But this was back in 2008 wich I thing it was more easy even for a Newbie to get that kind of money trough affiliate marketing. It is not that easy in 2012 as the market is floded and for a Newbie as I am it is very hard to get any sales at all. But I am not giving up, and I hope that I will get those numbers as you have.
