I used to be with Commission Junction but didn't make enough to make it worthwhile keeping the links on my sites.
Now I just have Amazon (and Adsense). But, CJ is very popular, so obviously it works for some.
If you use CJ what are the good, and bad points about them?

If you use CJ what are the good, and bad points about them? You should benefit from using Commission Junction because they offer more tangible and well branded products like that of Amazon. (More easily marketed through the use of Ebay or ppc marketing). However many users of CJ don't like the fact that In order to get a check, you need to make minimum 5 affiliate sales coming from at least one Visa or Mastercard. Some see this as a set back, others may find it motivational.

I use them a bit for some of my sites. I had a good dating domain that had natural type in traffic. I just did a redirect to a CJ.com affiliate url. Made close to $300 a month that way until they stopped this CJ affiliation.

Isn't there any other similar program to C.J which connects to a good affiliate company in keeping with your domain?

If you use CJ what are the good, and bad points about them? I have been using them for the last year. There are a lot of good points and really very little bad. They have good offers, brand name proucts and services. You get your money on time. The only bad point is that many of the commissions are low. Of course how you promote these offers is really the deciding factor. Good luck with them.

I signed up for CJ initially for the Skype affil program. They weren't able to deliver. Moreover ... their interface is really ... not my kind of taste. When you are used to Dutch affil programs of Tradetracker, Tradedoubler, etc.
So my general opinion ... they're ok, but not spectacular.

So my general opinion ... they're ok, but not spectacular. Their interface is very time-consuming to get through. Frustratingly slow too. What I really hate about CJ, is that merchants seem to come and go as they please, I joined heaps and received a bit at the start, then it dropped down to pretty much zero.. I was getting daily emails saying "This merchant is no longer active", and I have way too many sites and pages that I would need to update to 'fix' the problem. So annoying. These days I use redirect URL's only, if a merchant of an affiliate site goes away, I can easily redirect to a new merchant by changing one link in a control panel and all links will automatically update. Not that I do a lot of this type of promotion anymore, except Clickbank and specific affiliate programs where I personally use and genuinely endorse the programs/software/tools.
