I have 15 sales with Clickbank and I can't get paid. It seems I haven't got the required 5 different credit card sales to qualify. And they don't accept Paypal payments for this initial qualifying. This is an old rule that needs changing I think. When I email them about it they just refer me to the rules page!!! I have explained that in order to pay using Paypal etc one needs to give the credit card details. So in actual fact they are paying from their credit card account.

Clickbank claim that the rule is to stop people buying their own products to get the commission..! There is no other e-commerce company, that I know of, with this "insulting" accusation. Do they think I purchased 15 of my own products. The "reporting" page where my sales are shown has a blank column where "Payment methods " are supposed to be shown. As it's blank I can't see how the products were purchased.

Many people are using Paypal, Alertpay, etc., to purchase on the internet. If they keep buying my products like this I will NEVER get paid!

So had anyone else out there got this problem. And was it resolved? I'd like to hear from you.

CB has had this rule for a long time so I don't think they will be changing it soon.

This may not be what you want to do but here is what a couple of people I know did.

Find a very inexpensive CB product. Offer to reimburse the full price to the first 5 people that will use a credit card to buy the product. It will only cost you the price minus the commission. You can do this with friends or with your list. If you do it with your list find a CB product that is related to your niche that someone would really want. One person I know did this with their list and also added a bonus ebook or some similar product.

The only other alternative is to keep promoting your CB product and sooner or later you will finally get your 5!

Agree... Keep promoting you will be make sales soon. I suggest you using twitter or facebook to promote cb products in different niche.

I decided to call them and talk to them. They said my a/c was dormant but they would send me the check (cheque) anyway to stop the $1 monthly fees. Actually I had stopped promoting the products so it's my own fault. I had 2 Credit Card sales so I only need 3 more.

Is the rule for the first check or for each product you promote?

Hey....i am new in clickbank i am promoting products to getting from marketplace and promoting it though press releases and article submission, will clickbank pay me for impressions or just clicks.

I saw in morning my hop count was 11 and order form impression was 10

They only paid after sale ?

I`ve never had any payment issues with Clickbank. They always pay on time and correctly.

One one can help/ advise on how to promote CB products

A lot of people like marketing Clickbank products. They're ok to me but I find that they're a lot of shabby offers on there. Also I don't like that 5 credit card rule or the fact that they eat up your commissions if you are dormant for a few months. CB is that only network that I've know to do this. I have less hassles just marketing CPA offers that pay similar commissions. None of that credit card minimum BS and eating away my commissions if I have a couple slow months, especially starting out.
