As many others have said, kudos to you for getting started in affiliate marketing and off to a great start. I've tried twice, both with very little sales, but after learning a LOT about SEO, pages, blogs, backlinking, and traffic generation through Squidoo, I'm much more prepared to start another affiliate marketing adventure--using your story as my motivation. I think the key to success in affiliate marketing is to master one niche if you can. It should be a niche with at least 30,000 searches per month on average

it's funny you mentioned the search volume you targeted, my newest site get's around 25,000 exact searches a month, I'm getting a little more ambitious, but it's not ranked well yet. And I have an exact match .org domain, none of my competition is using keyword domains. Did you have to beat out any keyword domains?

If it took you only a few months, then that makes me feel alot better, but you did build ALOT of backlinks.

And you got some good referrals too, I'm trying to use my signature to get some referrals to the program I use. No success yet. But I keep plugging away.

dont know where to start from. first we need to

us what to do. "success leaves clues" as my mentor says i.e.find
some one that is having great success and they will leave clues in whatever they do.

2. understand. Take the time to understand the processes

3. implementation. JUST DO IT!!! all the information and understanding is no good if we dont start!!

This is not a "get rich quick" program we are in. contrary to popular belief this does take
some work but for those that persevere the benifits can be massive. There is more than enough to go round for everyone. Chris

What a great post! That's what it's all about taking action and working hard! When it come to making money online it's really is simple and easy! The key to it is being consistent. That is a very good story to get inspired, and I always tell people that we need to be patient with Google and in online marketing, people jumps from one product to other, follow the system and apply it, money will start rolling in..thanks for sharing this wonderful story..

I have a very similar story and it is always great to hear success stories.
The conclusion from that, I think is that you should always concentrate on one site that will eventually become an authority site. Do not spread on dozens of crappy websites with no value to the users. People don;t like it and Google doesn't like it.
One authority site will be easy to handle and can be a long term business that will make you money for months and years to come.
