How to do chargeback to your CC. In summary, tell the below story:-

In summary:
-----------
1) I want to make some purchases from the internet.
2) To fund these purchases, I need to go through a Processor (stormpay)
3) Now, this processor is preventing funds to be released and is manipulating accounts. They take all my money in the
4) There are now a lot of complaints against this Processor and it is under investigation.

Also tell your bank you have no other recourse but to do a chargeback as you already called and emailed stornpay to reverse the transaction but no reply for the past week. tell them you already did what you can. remember we are the Card Issuer Client, not stormpay and they are obliged to help us in this problem.

As far as i know, VISA or MASTERCARD give 45 to 60 days for chargeback after a transaction date.

Where to obtain the dispute form, is the chargeback successful rate percentage high? I am using citibank ....

Successful or not, at the moment, no answer yet cuz the CC company needs 30 - 40 days to do investigation (US only needs 3 days). Talk about Malaysia Boleh...a disgrace!

However, you can obtain the chargeback forms from your credit card issuing company. Its called a Dispute Form.

I've submitted my chargeback, will keep you guys posted on the developements. Documents you need to submit are:

1. A Cover Letter detailing your story and request your chargeback. <----- Telling them you've been rob from Stormpay
2. Some news or articles printouts.
3. BBB report on Stormpay.
4. Your Dispute Form.

FBI report is not out yet. If its out, it will be a major help. However, FBI cant help u get your money back. But its a strong proof.

bcgoh1628, say yes is not a problem but pls structure your story well. You can't say NO cuz they'll see in their system that you authorise the payment cuz you enter the CCV2 no (the 3 digit at the back of your card).

You tell them, YES, I did make a payment for (something) but now I din receive the service and everyone's account is frozen.

Ermm...but if I am the bank, they will say u authorised the payment but u get or did not get the service is not our problem, is between you and the one you pay for problem. Will they think of that?

But I can see that chances is slightly low..but miracle do happen. dance9bh.gif
