Totally right, just for proof check the Real Money Live Competition at http://www.forex-robots.com , you'll see that all the forex robots that are on a broker other than Alpari are losing money. I know that this can be due to the workings of the forex robots, but broker interference is a possibility here too.

I suggest to you to use a broker with Micro account (0,01 lot = 1.000 USD minimum opened position).

Alpari UK is good also for micro above all because you can trade with Metatrade4 platform.
Start with this platform becasue it is the main used and the best one

Trade and practice but difference from Demo and Real is very big.
With your real money stress is incredible high.

I suggest to you to try to give to your self a target profit. Like 0,5% daily. You need to reach it using low leverage you can be ready for to trade.
Make this exercice:

Account equity:
10.000 USD
Target profit: 50 USD Daily
First operation size: 0,1 Lot (10.000 USD = Leverage 1:1)
Second opeartion (used for average if wrong trend) size: 0,1 or 0,2 Lot
Maximum number or lot opened 0,3-0,5

If you are able to get this you will be ready for real trading.
The last main point is that you must managed if after maximum lot opened (example 0,4) you are loosing 1.000. What will you do? This is one of main point. Manage your losses !!
It is really difficult.

I agree with you. Alpari UK is a fair broker, I've been watching the Real Money Competition at http://www.forex-robots.com and the robots are performing well using Alpari UK. On the other hand, the ones using other brokers are not doing so well.

So far I have seen names like Alpari, FXDD, WSD, etc. I am located in the U.S. and looking for something domestic. I would like to start small, maybe ranging from $100-$500.

Here are my requirements:
1. U.S Forex broker
2. Min Deposit $100-$500
3. PayPal, AlertPay, or Debit/Credit card for deposits and withdrawals
4. Preferably a good customer support.
5. Don't really mind if its VT or MT4 trader. Preferably MT4.

Is there a good one that fits? I need something that I can trust!

With new regulation for retail forex broker in US, I think it's hard to find US broker with your requirements.
