Hi there!
I 'm wondering if any of you guys have any books that you recommend reading on Real Estate? I'm 19 years old at the moment, and dont have enough money yet to buy property. But my current business is doing pretty well, and since i want my next move to be in Real estate, i figrued, why not read about it.
I have read some books from Robert Kiyosaki already, but not all of them. I know some of his books are also on investing in real estate, but i was thinking, why not ask on the forum?
Or some other places where i can find some beginner info!
Looking forward to your replies!

Hi Chiron,
good on you for participating and wanting to find out more information. I am 20 years old myself so I am in a similar boat to you my friend. I have some good money saved up but likewise, not enough for a down payment. Robert Kiyosaki is definitley a good author on the topic of property investment, perhaps the best...but it would probably be better for you to research some of the more local property entrepreneurs to your country, as laws are different from country to country. A great idea would be for you to go to your local library, they will have plenty of information for you to choose from.
cheers

You can check this book: Investing in Real Estate by Garry W. Eldred or How to Make Money in Real Estate in the New Economy by Matthew Martinez
I think these two books offer many useful information for you.

Getting to know a local real estate agent or 2 is remarkably educational. Just pretend you are interested in buying and have a chat every month or so, asking for any good opportunities, ask pertinent questions. You will learn a ton!

What aspect of real estate are you looking to get into? Rental properties, commercial properties, apartment buildings? The question is kind of vague. I was in the mortgage industry for 9.5 years before the collapse. Owning rental properties can be a lucrative business with the right deals. Build some relationships with realtors in your area and go from there. Nothing like learning on the fly in my opinion.

There are many people investing in real estate and properties. As property rates are increasing day by day, so investors are investing for good returns within low risks.

Hello, There are lots of excellent resources available and it is good to read books from both an agent’s perspective and an investor’s perspective. Make sure you read about commercial verses residential; understand how agents and brokers operate and the advantages/disadvantages of buying/selling FSBO etc...And keep an open mind. 1. The Millionaire Real Estate Investor- Gary Keller (if you can see him live) 2. Flip- Gary Keller 3. Real Estate Investment 6th Edition- John P Wiedemer 4. Barron's Keys To Investing In Real Estate 3rd Edition- Friedman & Harris 5. Real Estate Investing/ Flipping/ Managing for Dummies all 3- Latest Edition Good Luck! _________________ DIY & Tools online
