Wow, Maybe One Of Those "Too Good To Be True" Deals...

Before you accuse any business of being a scam, please consider the facts. Then, explain to us why this is so. I have noticed that you are already using the past tense, as if the site was a thing of the past. It still exists!

At this time, the business is not proven for certain to be a scam. The owners, Martin and Chris Sorensen, own several different ad exchanges. Having signed up for another one as well, I got no answer to a support ticket, so it must be true that if they are sick or just disappeared, this is not only at bigworldads. But until the issue is settled, you may want to make sure you don't sign up at their other ad exchanges with an expectation of being paid. You can recognize them by their email address (if it's not on the main page, it's in the spam policy)>

What exactly happened at bigworldads is that on July 15, commissions were not paid. I last heard from them the day before, July 14. Martin is allegedly sick. I understand your concern, but it's still too early to decide that this is a scam. Meanwhile, the owner of the bigworldads domain deactivated the payment buttons (they are still working at the other site of theirs where I had signed up, or they were last time I checked), so no more money goes to them at this time. I say "the owner of the bigorldads domain" because the domain is in fact rented from somebody else (a husband and wife team). More news from that couple or from Martin and Chris should come within the next few days, and it's not too late to hope that things will work out, although nothing is proven one way or another. I'll let you know what happens.

Also, complaining to payment processors or credit card companies would only make it worse. Chris and Martin's accounts would just get frozen, making it impossible to pay even if they wanted to, and to members of their other sites, too.

By now (Monday, July 27, 2009), Chris and Martin Sorensen still didn't reappear so the owners of the bigworldads domain took over the site. They will keep it open but they won't pay our commissions. At first, they wanted to make all members become free members but then they changed their mind because Pro members did pay for their membership, it's just that the money went to somebody else. I can't blame them for taking over the site, though. I agree now that they waited long enough. But I had large commissions, so I'm very disappointed that I won't get them. I can understand the decision, though, since they were earned under the previous administration.
