What inteerest rates do your local banks offer for deposits made in US$ and EUR?
What is the basic (main) interest rate in your country?

Are from UK? You should make investments in other countries where the interest rates are higher, much higher.

The joke in the UK is that deposit rates are extremely low, often around 0.25% to 3%, the Bank of England bank rate is 0.5%, yet credit card companies are charging an average of 17% APR on balances! Unauthorised overdrafts can be as high as 19%.
