i want increasing my websites traffic. i do some many way to reach that point.

Another productive technique you can use is literally search your keyword in Google and then take the url of the top sites and plug them into Yahoo! Site Explorer...it will list all the sites linking to the competition, which will give you, if nothing else, an idea of what you are up against for top rankings.

I have found that the bast way is to look for sites that relate to your blog then visit these sites. Check to see what their ratings are then ask them to put your blog URL on their website. Since I have a blog about recipes for diabetics and I use artificial sweeteners I have got backlinks from some well and highly used websites. It just takes a simple email to do this. I also hold #1, #2 and sometimes #3 in Google when searching for just desserts for diabetics. Don't be afraid to ask a high ranking site to feature your URL. Much to my surprise, I even had my blog featured in the NY Times. I still haven't found out how they even got word of it, but it sure got a lot of traffic for a few days. Up in the high thousands. Maybe you can get someone to ask your hometown newspaper to feature your blog. Don't forget to put your links to your other blogs on each of your blogs.

Flood the web with articles of content. Think about it for a moment... Content makes the web go 'round. And when although the written word still reigns supreme on the 'Net, there are other "content" platforms that may also be effective for your niche like video marketing.

Type this phrase into google exactly as is to get high PR .edu backlinks.....

[YOUR KEYWORD HERE WITHOUT BRACKETS] site:.edu inurl:blog "post a comment" -"you must be logged in" -"comments closed"

Similarly, you can type "Do Follow Diver" into google and this will give you list of do follow blogs related to your site that you can post to...

Or, if you don't feel like spending a lot of time, you can use software such as SEnukeX.....

Personally, I use SEnukeX and you can check it out in my signature if you're intersted....it's all you will ever need.

Or you can outsource and go to a site such as Fiver or Warrior forum and and pay someone to build you backlinks....at fiverr its only $5

You will use Social Media Optimization like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn.. etc social networking websites. These websites have a large number of users, you will join them and post your link on their relevant post, it will helpful to increase your traffic.

How do you ask a site to put your URL on it? I'm pretty new at this and am working hard on ranking.

There's heaps of ways to get backlinks some are easier than other but it's best to try and get a solid mix of all of them...

Everything from social bookmakrks, directories, direct link exchanges and forums... EVERYTHING!!
