Geez took me ages to find this thread. It's Saturday night here and quiet, so I thought I would have a wander around that place. I have run into a few Aussies around MMG. Anyway I thought it was over due time for some humor. Aussie humor of course. Remember this one?

Sheila walked into the kitchen to find Bruce stalking around with a fly swatter.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
"Hunting Flies" He responded.
"Oh. Killing any?" She asked.
"Yep, 3 males, 2 Females," he replied.
Intrigued, she asked. "How can you tell them apart?"
He responded, "3 were on a beer can, 2 were on the phone."

To all those Aussie Dads out there, I hope you had a great day and your kids were kind to you.

Im from europe , slovenia. once i really wanted to visit australia, now my cousian is moving there with her husband because she has good conections for work etc I once knew one great australian guy, his name was kevin from melbourne, and i was happy, but after we stop talking out of nowhere i was not thinking about australia anymore, but i would still have a wish to see it, lets see what happens. my opinion is thats its very relaxing there as a country. the least on world news, as all other countries are all the time if anyone noticed lol
peace,

Common Aussies !! Gota be kiddin'. Found this on page 3. blink.gif

Did anyone venture out on the weekend to Surfer's Paradise to watch the V8 supercars???

Funny thing happened to me on Sunday. Yeah got called into work to trouble shoot and I couldn't fix it as was a hardware problem and the equipment didn't belong to us, just housed there.. hmm long story. Butttttttttttt. Talk about being in the right place at the right time!! One thing led to another and I stepped out infront of a car in the carpark, daydreaming lol Hey it happens, ok? Well I ended up taking a spare seat in a private jet down to Surfers and actually got to see the last V8 supercars race!! I do know these people, but as work associates, not socially smile.gif They move local VIP's and were out for a good weekend, one of them couldn't go at the last minute, so yours truly jumped in, throwing all caution to the wind. It was absolutely AWESOME!! Was flown back that evening after the race and home by dinner. Well nearly smile.gif

I am still pinching myself. Never in a million years I would have thought something like that could or would ever happen to me. I have to mention the champayne on the trip down did relax me.

From smelling the roses to smelling fuel fumes, well who woulda thought? For me this is a memory locked in my mind forever.
