First of all I would like to say that I have never had any problem with alertpay.

However, I read some old posts about stormpay chargebacks, where they actually dipped into the member's bank accounts to get money they were "owed" due to "chargebacks" They didn't do this to me due to the fact that they did not have my bank account details. But stormpay did freeze my stormpay account taking hundreds from me. This was when I was in 12dailypro.

Is it true that alertpay supports chargebacks? I would like to know this because alertpay has my bank information. I do not want the same thing to happen to alertpay, that happened to stormpay. (debit bank accounts without permission for "money owed" in their opinion. Also my bank account doesn't have an overdraft. Do you think that will protect my bank account from them. Do you think I should delete my bank account from their system? And if so, would this take away their right to have any connections to my account...ever?

I realize that alertpay can freeze your alertpay account, but I only keep a small amount in there usually so not really worried about that.

I am not doing anything wrong, But when stormpay did this me, I wasn't doing anything wrong then either.
Just want to be prepared for anything.

Hi jump wave.gif

I do think AP might be able to chargeback, but I doubt if they can go and take money from your bank account, only maybe what is in AP. That would also only be is something unthwart were to happen. Maybe if there was proof of scamming then they would freeze your money in AP but what Stormpay pay did in my opinion was totally illegal and unfounded. They even took money from members SP accounts who were not involved in 12DP.. it seems they were guilty by association.

I am not the best person to comment here about AP, as personally I have never received a payment into that account, but I have funded and used funds from it. Works great for many members and I have internet friends all over the world that swear by it as a great PP.

In the end it is your decision, however I would like to say as with any PP.. never leave much money in them.. I recently got caught with EBullion. I doubt I will ever see a cent of that money. Websites can dissappear and we have no recourse due to this global industry. Caution should be exercised in everything we do.

I hope I have helped.

Stormpay sent back a couple payouts I had received to admins of programs. About $300 worth I remember correctly. then I heard they froze those programs accounts. A few days later mine was frozen. Thankfully I had just gotten a $1000 withdrawl to my bank cleared when SP scammed out. I immediately went to the bank and closed my account, told them about the SP scam and opened a new account.
Just stay on top of it every day.

I think that is really probable that AlertPay will end like StormPay.

My account got locked without any reason, I've sent them a dozen of support tickets but they didn't answered my contact requests. I even tried to call them but no one answered.

Does anyone know how I can recoup my money from them?

So if we'll look into it, Paypal is the most expensive, But also the most reliable payment processor?
I've always used Paypal and never got any problems with it. Their support staff is very responsive and helpful. Though their "scam control level" is a little too high, But this is better for members.
I've started to use AlertPay just now, And so far haven't had any problems in sending & receiving money. But who know what will happen later? Alertpay seems like a reliable payment processor, But time will tell.
