If you had a Personal Pro account, on the Alertpay website it says the fees are:

So does it mean if someone sent you a dollar you would get only 72 cents?

No you would get 71cents

in a lot of the business transactions its a higher rate. Check the fine print at the bottom of the Fees page. Its 3.9% + .59 per transaction.

$1.00 = $.75 received

Micro Payment receiving fees: 5% + $.05 per transaction

Yes, you will get 72 cents. 2.5% + $0.25 is not too much. I've deposited money in Alertpay a few times now, and it's usually only a dollar here and there, so not too bad.
