I was checking rates for a potential customer and found that we now offer 12, 24, and 36-month contract terms to lock in low rates.

Seems customers are being quoted some very high rates from their current providers and are being slammed by monthly varying rates. The panel expert recommended locking in a fixed-rate for one year if possible. One lady was paying a rate of .10 that suddenly shot up to .24!

So glad I have paired up with a company that offers several low rate and energy-efficient options for new and existing customers...

Effective November 1, 2008, Commercial metered customers will be compensated at a rate of 3 mil (.003 per kWh).

Examples:
Residential customer using 2,000 kWh x .003 = $6.00 monthly residual.
Commercial customer using 50,000 kWh x .003 = $150.00 monthly residual.
