I like this post. Very enlightening.

There are lots of offers out there that can easily make your head spin, especially if you're new - like me. I had several false starts, just relying on very enticing invitations, and was actually quite disappointed, to the point that I automatically dismissed any internet "opportunity" as a waste of time and money. I think that this way of acting is on short term

A person could get into a scary situation in my opinion. I don't believe I would ever try something like that.

I wouldn't do it but I can easily see why people do. Purely in terms of making money, it's a pretty clever idea.

I'm on the net for the long haul, though, and credibility is everything with customers, affiliates and partners alike.

So how does one manage to get ads on Craig's list without getting deleted left and right? Is it possible to advertise a money making opportunity on Craigs list without getting canned?

There are quite few people using similar tactics on facebook and there was even an ebook doing the rounds teaching how to do the same thing on Weblog. You could make a few bucks in the short term, but the secret to long term success online is getting people to know,like and trust YOU and this is not going to go far towards doing that.

I wouldn't do that if you want to make a living on the internet longevity is the most important thing! That might last for a few weeks but end the long run what will that accomplish u wanna live of the net for years my friend not weeks! There are a close to infinite number of ways to make money. There are worse than this guy of course - he's not doing anyone any physical harm, but why do business in this way when you can add to the world instead of taking away? - pretending to be a 22 year old hottie, if he's a bearded old man is not adding to the world.

This guy is obviously creative - so he has the ability. Hopefully he'll choose a more positive route next time.
