Can someone recommend me some reliable private retirement fund (if any)? I am looking for an alternative to national retirement funds.

hello there. without knowing more, i can't really recommend anything now. for example,

how long would you like your fund to last? how much would you need a month? how much is your capital amount?

if some of the answers are too sensitive for public viewing, do pm me.

cheers!

I Know someone I helped who is a U.S. citizen and he has no social security to look forward to but instead has his money in some very safe offshore retirement type vehicles. The portable retirement plan is one of the best you can get if you are not living in the U.S. or are not a U.S. citizen. But if you are living in the U.S. then there are some other vehicles that would work and are legal for both U.S. citizens and those who are citizens of other countries.

No matter your age or income, the decisions you make today may determine the quality of life you'll have in your retirement. The sooner you begin planning, the better off you'll likely be in your later years
