I'm just curious what advertising methods people are using other than the normal stuff like adwords, ppc, search engines, etc.

Social media (facebook,myspace,twitter etc)is great to get your message out about products you are promoting in a friendlier manner rather than the traditional "sales pitch" but you have to spend the time building your fans,followers friends etc to make it viable and you need to offer them some value in the form of knowledge advice or assistance etc if you want them to eventually buy from you.

The other thing you can do is use hub pages and squidoo and even blogger is good. If you set up an account for each then use your article marketing to lead back to these "satellite" pages it can be a good way to boost your site ranking thus getting more traffic to your offers. Remeber to provide useful content though or you risk getting banned from these sites for being too promotional.

Ultimately these are more of your long term strategies and are not that good in the short term. For that your PPC campaigns and as others have mentioned video marketing are the better ways to go.

As far as "Short term" results go, you recommend the PPC campaigns and video marketing? Right now i've been working on some long term strategies. Such as blogger, and article marketing. But i need a little bit of a "Self confidence" Boost to keep going. I haven't tried the PPC campaigns yet. How exactly would you go about short term success strategies? Any information helps. Thanks!
