@realist: 1st time since a month I log into MMG again. Apologies for not seeing your message. It is indeed a constant battle, however so is the "accepting cookies" issue. And both are easy to detect (if they are blocked) and be dealt with accordingly. By just preventing access to an entire site if not accepted; ads in this case.

Why does anyone care if people use ad blockers?
If they don't wanna see ads (they aren't gonna sign up to anything anyways), why waste impressions and accidental clicks on people who aren't interested? It's an idiotic mentality to want to advertise to these people.
If they are here then they are interested in the forum content which is all advertisements anyways, that means a majority of visitors enjoy 'and convert' off content ads NOT the banners they Adblock.
I'm sure everyone using adblockers turns them on and off anyways, they will view banners when they are more likely to convert, this is better for the advertisers because it gives their ads a higher conversion ratio.
