You know, squidoo itself guides users on how they can make the best lenses. They have this guidelines that they can follow (specially for beginners) when creating their lenses. I always find it very helpful that you would follow whatever their guidelines are and always follow rules. Of course, what's most important is the content you write on those lenses.

I have been trying to get into squidoo for the past few days and apply some new techniques that I have learned talking to members here but I seem to can't open the website. Squidoo is a great resource, but sure one needs to work and create good lens
cause there are lots of competitive lenses on squidoo and many experts use it

Cool Kobamod. thanks for that. I guess it is just my filter working against it. Anyways, I was able to search for some new squidoo lenses earlier using another PC and I just noticed that there are a lot of squidoo out there with not so good content. What I would just like to say is that we should never create squidoo lenses with copied or spinned article. It wouldn't really look that right and if you have your brand in the content, people might think that you have a bad site/brand.

Great tip! I been using squidoo for backlinking but now I will focus on putting up some quality contents.

I use Squidoo as one of my traffic generating method. Personally I think it's the new article marketing. And Google loves Squidoo!

Google highly rate sites like Hub Pages and Squidoo and usually anything you produce with this site is worthwhile even after the content farming rules of Feb. 2011 and the changes.
