http://www.thetrangroup.com/

Savings rates http://www.thetrangroup.com/savings.htm 4.00%-5.00% monthly for USD, euro is higher rates

Well, I believe almost none of the offshore accounts (or anything located outside of the U.S. for that matter) is FDIC insured. An example is HSBC Offshore. I really wouldn't have much of a problem trusting them with my money.

Many would have insurance provided by other government organizations around the world though. (I don't know about this one in particular.)

Also, credit unions are not FDIC insured. I simply don't see FDIC insurance as a *must*

Can we get some solid facts on these guys? 4% a month seems to good to be true for a no risk savings account.

Please let us know anything you know about this site

Plus it says
"Savings

Below are Tran savings account rates. These are monthly returns. Dividends will be paid each month, in the end of the month."

I think thats still yearly hehe, if so theyre other banks who are FDIC who offer that rate

No, it's not just for US citizens. It's not technically based in the US either.

This is interesting. I see it was advertised in the NY Times, with Fairport, NY on it's ad...

I might have to look into this one. Anyone a member? Please offer any info if you are. Thanks.

Credit Union accounts are insured by the NCUA, a government agency, up to $100,000...

Many investments are not insured, or are otherwise fraught with the chance of loss.

This kind of interest rate really sounds suspect at first glance. It'd be wise to put The Tran Group's name into a Yahoo or Google search and see what pops up

Yes, I agree this kind of interest rate is quite suspicious.
I only said I don't find FDIC to be a "must" because I am fine with unguaranteed but reputable companies or accounts guaranteed by some other organizations.

Haha, on their about page it says:

"
Employment Opportunities
Job Description Closing Date
Senior Credit Officer Pending
Internal Auditor Pending

Apply now!

Tran Group is always interested in talented people who can demonstrate fresh financial thinking. For a Tran Group employment application, contact:
Tran Group Human Resources Department
75 Archbishop Makarios Ave
Nicosia, NI 1391
Cyprus
"

If one's really serious about this one could try to contact their HR department to interview for a position. That might reveal some information as to whether they're for real and how they operate. Unfortunately that would probably require giving up your mailing address to them.

But honestly I wonder if that's even a real address.

Like most things...if it sounds too good to be true...it is. I would be VERY careful with this. Not pointing any fingers bc I don't know for sure about them but be careful guys.

I wonder how stupid you should be, to say such things about the country you don't even know?!

I am originally from Cyprus, and that is absolutely bull****!

Have you ever been to Cyprus?
Have you ever talked to Cypriots?
Have you ever deal with us ?

Yes, we do have a lot of americans, canadians, english. They just live here and enjoy their life. Our country is in EU. We have very loyal laws and rules. We don't have terrorism and all that ****.

Give me names! Who did rip or cheat you off? Which companies/banks/lawyers? Who did get your last dollar, you damn idiot? There are *******s in each country, but you just can't say that my country is full of scammers. We are not like Nigeria. You may check my country in any black list or whatever you want and you will find out that it's a good european country. There are like 20-30 banks here, and not EVEN ONE get bankrupted.

So, think before you post. If you are an idiot, it doesn't mean, that all people idiots like you.
Regards

Well when you take a chance and invest in these high percentage hyip's and autosurf's, I WANT TO KNOW DID YOU EVER SAY TO YOURSELF WELL THIS HYIP AND THIS AUTOSURF IS NOT FDIC INSURED? OR DID YOU EVER SAY TO YOURSELF WELL 10% DAILY FOR 13DAYS IS TOO HIGH AND TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE?

If you say yes, then you are a liar because EVERYBODY IN THIS FORUM HAS INVESTED IN A HIGH YIELD PROGRAM REGARDLESS OF THE RISKS AND REGARDLESS OF WHETHER IT IS FDIC INSURED OR NOT.
And so what, yeah I know that the hyip's and the autosurfs does not claim to be a bank but can you please tell me the difference between the hyip's/autosurfs who are not claiming to be banks however they offers high yield percentages MORE THAN 4% A MONTH and the Trangroup which offers a measly 4% a month?
Ya'll nuts post-69220-1110229459.gif

Also not for nothing megazero but sometimes you got to keep your big mouth shut and keep good things to yourself. Never let your left hand know what your right hand doeth. Who cares about these people. If you find something good, keep it to yourself. Tell only a couple of your close friends and tell them to keep their mouth shut. Man please, if I find something solid, which I have, you think I'm gonna tell these cats?
I'm keeping what I found to myself. Forget these people in here. Next time you find something good megazero, keep it to yourself! Don't tell these MMG'ers.
Their not worth it. I'm not trying to insult anybody but the truth is the truth. And I'm in no way shape or form claiming that the Trangroup is solid HOWEVER this topic has led me to tell megazero that if you find something solid, KEEP IT TO YOURSELF

I would like to invest some money into this bank. Where can I get some assurance that this is a legitimate company? May I contact the person who has invested in this bank?
