I finally received my verification letter from dxgold. It came today via regular mail. I was surprised to see that the letter was sent on January 11th, a pretty fast paced trip from vanuatu.

Hopefully with DXIO sending out these letters the system will speed up again. I can only hope.

Got it today, but its only valid for 14 days after the date sent so..

they sent me a useless letter.

I forgot to post here last week that I also received the verification letter. However, it did not help my rating.

Oh well. I'm still a very happy camper here with DXIO.

No, I recieved the same letter, also more than 14 days had expired. But I attempted the verification anyway, and it worked fine. Apparently, the 14 days means nothing. Go ahead and use it.

The reason it didnt help your rating is because your rating already included the letter. When you ask for the letter to be sent it immediately counts toward your rating.

You think people would try entering the verification code before stating it is useless. There is no valid expiry date, all the codes still work, try it.

I never received my letter? It still says 'letter not sent yet' in my profile.

Just be patient, There are at least 20,000 active users of dxio and probably a lot more than that. It seems that dx is sending the letters out themselves as mine and most others are coming postmarked from vanuatu. IF they are sending them all out themselves it will probably take into this year to get them all sent.

I wonder how long it will take for them to start posting the letters to their Australian customers.

I would have thought that they would have been some of the first to receive a letter, considering their proximity to Vanuatu.

There doesnt appear to be a rhyme or reason as to the order in which they are sent out. But if you browse other forums such as talkgold and dx4all you will see that folks all over the world have received theirs. And I again remind you of the enormous undertaking of sending out letters to every single user that has requested it, By now I would figure its a majority % of all active dxusers. Imagine if you had to print out a document and insert in an envelope and then put it in the mail. How many do you think you could do in 15 minutes, or an hour, Or in a day?

Offcourse, I am in no way disappointed in not receiving a letter. I am merely interested in what stage they are currently up to in the process of sending out the letters.
