How do everyone.
This is my first post, so I thought I would start out with an HYIP that I came across while searching for investment clubs. Go figure.
I did a quick whois, and at first glance it looks ok, except that the registration record expires in May 2008.
Don't know where to take it from here, so I'll wait till some veteran mmg'rs check it out.
Looks similar to minvestment.

Wow. Do your research. They do not exist on the 33 fl of the trade center. I have talked personally with Sean O'Sullivan and John Haller. They are not part of this company and neither are the other founders. They met in 1984 and formed mapinfo in 1986 and didn't know each other in 1980 period. Thegreatmarket.com a failed hyip bought globalpowers.net from whois.com. I am in the process of chasing down ing on the gaurantee and insurance of your money. I posted this to their customer service and got no reply and the post was taken down and I was locked out of the forum. I am happy to get an email with questions. celtik44@yahoo.com If you do a google of "global powers inc." you can chase this info down yourself. If non of this was true global powers inc would have corrected my answers. Also their forum has posts from six months before their first registered members. With that said they have paid me everyday so far on my low test run. I will let you know if that changes or if they do pay. I predict an eventual disappearance of this company. I would love evidence to the contrary I really wanted to believe this company.

celtik44 is right on.
Friend in hong kong went to trad center & they aren't there.
Sean O'Sullivan has been in contact via email to verify Global Powers is a scam. (His current venture is jsintl.org)
John Haller confirmed the same over the phone. (His current venture is sportssignup.com)

Basically GP is doing a sophisticated ponzi with message board and supposed ING insurance for investments over $50k USD. They aren't on the 33rd floor of WTC in Hong Kong. They will not verify any information. All forum members with the joined date of DEC. 13, 2007 are bogus & the company doesn't check out anywhere. When you question them on the forum they kick you off.

They are currently paying, but everything points to a scam when you do your due diligence.

I am going to add more after reading the forum at Global Powers. How come of 100k investors there are only 200 registered in the forum. Again The founders of mapinfo say they have never been involved and my friend went to the office building twice. I use celtik44@yahoo.com here so they do not know who I am there because I don't trust I will get my money back at all if they know who I am. I am so confident here is my cell phone in the us 1-801-599-0436 call me and I will prove I have no relation to this forum or any other hyip out there. I also will pay any vip member who can produce a contract and the ing insurance verifiable 5000 us cash and I will post I am wrong. The reason I post here is because they killed the post there now they won't because they have no way of killing it here so they have to answer the questions now. I just want them to prove me wrong and they won't. they say on their site they are the greatest private fund yet they say they went public in 2004. HELLO PEOPLE do not let your greed and emotion make this financial decision. They will pay out for awhile and they may not scam you but if that is the case why lie about the founders and when they went public. If they are legit how come they are not in a hong kong phone book. Better yet how come you can't call them and the only phone they have is a fax. I tried to book an appt. over a week ago for the beginning of march online and no response to that other than yes come over okay when what time who do I call. I am waiting on info from ing and I will post soon. Again 5000 cash and you can have it if a vip member can show me the verifiable paper work with ing. Global powers should put their money where there mouth is and just prove it. In the coming days you will see the founders names disappear from the faq and then the info will be ignored completely they cannot get around this and when I prove ing won't insure they will use another gaurantee or company. If they are not a scam then they are surely stupid to use others for credibility when they don't need it.

Global Powers Challenge!

I will pay any Global Powers VIP Investor ($50K USD invested) $5,000 USD for a copy of the GP contract (you can black out your account number.) & a copy of the ING contract they claim to have for all VIP investment plans. In order to receive the $5,000 you must provide copies & the ING policy must be verified by me. (I will call ING with the policy #) Once validated as a legitimate ING policy for the invested amount with Global Powers I will wire you $5,000.

I will pay $500 for any evidence that can validate the location of the Global Powers Office in Hong Kong as actually being on the 33rd floor of the World Trade Center in Hong Kong (see their site). A video will work & a verification by my friend in Hong Kong that it is there where you say it is. (He has been there 4 times and still can't find it. dry.gif

my email is lendman_2369@msn.com

If you have any questions email me. I would love for Global Powers to be true. I will make millions this year alone if it is (the $5,000 & $500 mean nothing to me in comparison to what I could gain if it is true.) Sadly, I there are to many holes in the story, and a lot of innocent people will get left holding the bag.

Two emails and a third on the way from Sean O'sullivan. Global Powers would just call sean if he was apart of them and remind him of their relationship that he has forgotten??? and he would email us and let us know of his memory lapse. This is one smart guy who has a fantastic memory I am sure. btw he took the time to answer us when he was in Iraq on his charity venture. How cool is this guy with his millions he took the time to answer us on this topic

Seriously global powers just needs to answer the simple questions with proof not words.

OK, I've had a look at the site, thanks for the heads up. Unusual that you would take the time out to contact me, that's appreciated.

We will issue cease & desist letters, etc., for the good that it will do.

Scam.

Thanks for heads-up, I'll ask someone to look into it.

None of us even met by 1980.

Here it is ING states they cannot find anything in their company where they gaurantee or insure the principle with Global Powers inc. It has been a week and no calls or emails from VIP members for their free money. Total scam. Here is the email.
Dear mr McCluskey,

Thank you for notifying us of below company. ING is not able to confirm that ING insures the investment principle and will start to investigate the claims this company is making.

Kind regards,

ING Group Investor Relations

To Whom It May concern,

I have come across a company in Hong Kong claiming that ING insures my investment principle because they have 600 million in reserves if something goes wrong. The company is called Global Powers Inc.

There website is globalpowers.net

They are using your name and credibility. If it is true what they say I have found an investment I can trust. If it isn't true then your name is being misused and you need to know about it. I would like a response back either way.

Best,

Greg Mccluskey
