Not Much Money, No Problem!

Another quick post to try and get some of you interested in this industry. Now I know you dont become a member of this forum if you are not looking to make money. I also know most people looking to make money generally dont have a whole bunch of it just sitting in there bank.

Now for me and the other billion people in this situation most investments become unnatainable and we are left sorting through thousands of money making schemes and scams.

Well the answer I found was website flipping. Investments range from $100 to $10,000 and beyond. But I think most people should be able to come up with a $100 initial investment.

But if the investment is so low the skill set neccesary must be extremely high? Well again this is not entirely true. In a simplistic sense all you need to do is increase revenue and visitors to the site you buy. So add some adsense ads to your site and promote your site heavily via forums/blogs/groups and chances are you will turn a profit.

Please be aware this is the very simplistic view and far more can be achieved by advance flippers. But we all have to start somewhere.

I have recently bought a site for $150 and will create a group project (once there are a few more interested members) of trying to flip and profit from the site. As I said I will start this once there are enough people to contribute ideas and learn a few things.

What is website flipping?

I see this question posted in many forums so I would like to take this opportunity to answer this question for many of you.

Website Flipping is the process of purchasing a website, updating/improving/devolping or adding value to the website and then selling the website for a profit.

The term flipping has been borrowed from the real estate market where "house flipping" is a well known industry. In fact the processes behind each are almost identical but as far as popularity and awareness goes website flipping is well behind.

So why am I so excited about the industry?

Im not sure whether my writing style reflects my enthusiasm for the industry and if it hasnt let me tell you I am well and truely hitched onto the bandwagon. Website flipping is such an exciting industry for many reasons including:

- Incredibly low capital needed (in comparison with other investments)
- Unbelievable amount of growth possible (how many websites are there?)
- Low risk as any good purchase will at worst hold its value
- High growth currently
- Create revenue whilst "flipping"

So stick around, bookmark this forum and ask lots of questions because IMO this is one of the best online industries around and now is a great time to enter the market.
