I am opening this thread to ask help for all of you.

I am based in Florianopolis in Brazil and I have a neighboor family from Argentina that is living here for many years. They came to Brazil looking for a kind of cancer treatment they could not find in their country.

I had been following this neighboor Cancer case for quite a while. She has tried many kinds of Chemotherapy in the last months, but even though it slowed the growth of the cancer, she was getting sicker and sicker with the side effects of this kind of treatment. The Brazilian government was paying for her treatment.

Now her doctor recommended she stops with this chemo treatment and try a new medicine that uses hormonal treatment to control the desease. I can't elaborate more about it as I am a complete ignorant about this subject.

The issue is that the Brazilian goverment will not pay for this new treatment without a judicial action that may take from 2 to 3 months to be finished and she needs to start the treatment now. This is very typical from our goverment here.

She can not afford to pay for this medicine in this period. So I had the idea to open this thread to ask for donations.

She will spend around USD1000 per month with the medicine.

If you can contribute, it would be very nice. I can accept any kind of e-currency and wire. If you have access to this medicine and can donate, it would be even better.

To make this thread a bit more fun, if we reach more than what is needed for her treatment at these first months before the Brazilian goverment starts to pay, I will drawn an Official Brazilian Soccer T-Shirt as soon as the funds are enough. I will also send the remaining money back to the owners.
